Job 1 · Fitter / Service Technician, Air Handling (m/f/d)
Full-time · nationwide field service · starting immediately
When systems stop, production stops — and that’s exactly when you’re needed. As a Fitter / Service Technician (m/f/d), you keep our customers’ filter and air-classifier systems running: you maintain, repair and replace wear parts — manufacturer-independent and with the ambition to solve problems right the first time. Become part of a young team with experienced minds.
Your responsibilities
- Maintenance, inspection and upkeep of dedusting, filter and air-classifier systems at customer sites.
- Replacing filter elements, activated carbon and wear parts (valves, diaphragms, support cages, rotary valves, etc.).
- Fault finding, repair and optimisation of air handling systems — across all brands.
- Carrying out statutory safety inspections (UVV) and supporting emissions measurements.
- Assembly and commissioning of replacement and new systems.
- Documenting assignments and coordinating directly with the customer and the office team.
Your profile
- Completed technical training, e.g. as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, plant mechanic, electrician or similar.
- Manual skill and technical understanding; experience in air handling, filtration or plant engineering is a plus but not a must.
- An independent, reliable way of working and enjoyment of direct customer contact.
- Willingness to travel within the service area and a category B driving licence (C1/CE an advantage).
- Fitness for working at height is an advantage.
- Career changers with relevant experience are expressly welcome.
What we offer you
- A permanent position with performance-based pay.
- A well-equipped service vehicle, modern tools and high-quality workwear.
- Short decision-making paths and direct collaboration with management.
- Further training and manufacturer courses.
- Varied assignments in a meaningful industry — you make air cleaner.

- Preparing, following up and closing quotes for spare and wear parts as well as services.
- Order processing from purchase order to delivery, including deadline monitoring.
- Obtaining supplier quotes and coordinating with the field-service and engineering teams.
- Maintaining customer and order data in the system.
- Actively helping to shape efficient processes in a growing company.
Your profile
- Completed commercial training, e.g. as an industrial clerk, wholesale and foreign trade clerk or similar.
- Experience in inside sales, order processing or technical trade is an advantage.
- A technical interest — you don’t need to be an engineer, but you should enjoy getting to grips with the products.
- Confident use of MS Office and ERP / inventory-management systems.
- Strong communication skills, a talent for organisation and a structured, reliable way of working.
- Very good spoken and written German; English skills an advantage.
